Do you take more breaks from blogging because I notice a huge difference in these months as far as commenting goes, posts, stats, etc. What keeps you busy throughout the summer besides the obvious {warm weather}?
Also, to answer a lot of questions from last week about How you receive a lot of followers and keep them? I wouldn't worry so much about followers if you are involved in active social networks such as facebook or twitter. Because so many viewers don't press that followers gadget or ever leave a comment {Because they don't have a Blogger Account} BUT they do click that link when you post it on your facebook wall and twitter. Twitter has become our biggest resource for getting our posts out there. I'd recommend building your twitter followers and connecting your blog posts through twitterfeed or some other feed for twitter.
A tip I'll be sharing in our upcoming e-course is; if you are getting frustrated because you receive little to no comments/followers it's not because you are doing something wrong. It's because people are on a tight schedule and don't necessarily have the time to comment on all of your posts. They are reading but often times they just can't comment and it's true. I've talked to several bloggers and that's the bottom line. I often wondered that when I received barely any comments but had a tremendous amount of hits/views, people stay on for over 3 min. So it's not like people aren't reading. It's just something everyone deals with. Don't let it prevent you from continuing on this journey.
I also try to communicate as much as possible through twitter with my blog lovers to let them know I am reading that post....it's just easier for me to do on twitter versus blogger comments. And even when I try to leave a comment, blogger doesn't allow because something is wrong with the embedded below the post commenting. Try switching to pop up window and see if you receive more comments---
AND my final TIP---TURN WORD VERIFICATION OFF! Blogger has it set up to where your spam goes to a spam folder. No need for that to be turned on. No one comments due to the hassle of it and I PROMISE everything will flow smoother if you turn it off. Go to Settings, Comments, Scroll down to Comment Form Placement and click something other than embed. And scroll to Save.
Hope that helps! enjoy the moo---don't forget to send in those questions!
