Hello, I'm Stefanie and I blog over at Stefanie's Pleasant Places 

I love blogging, babies, chocolate, books, baking, reading, spending time with friends, and my church, though not necessarily in that order:-) Thanks for visiting me!

This is me and a little friend. I love babies and whenever  possible am holding one on my lap:-)

I began blogging two and a half years ago to keep my family updated after I moved away from them, and because I was told by a friend that I could express myself much more by blogging than I could on facebook! That was true.....for the most part I blog on whatever happens to be on my mind. Books; I've been reading, what; the Lord has been teaching me, what is going on in my life.....I really love blogging and it's rare for a day to go by without me posting something:-). Life isn't always easy and in hard times I want to find myself going to the Lord for encouragement, guidance and help. I then like to share what I've found and what has encouraged me on my blog in hopes that others will be blessed as well. Most of all I want my blog, as well as my life to glorify God.

When not busy blogging, reading, or working I love working on craft projects and have started an Etsy Store with some of my work. I love knitting, crocheting, and sewing, especially while watching a movie. What a relaxing way to spend an evening!

And of course what would a blog be without pictures? I love to take and share pictures, especially of all the little ones in my life. Many of my days are spent helping a family with seven children, and I happen to be the oldest of thirteen children (!) so there are  lots of little ones to keep up with:-)
