I stumbled across a yummy looking Margarita on this friends blog. And then I had to do some searching for the recipe and found that it's the best in Long Island. I'm a New York gal, so I trust them.
It contains Patron Reposado tequila, Cointreau, pomegranate-tangerine juice and fresh squeezed lime. It manages to be simultaneously fruity yet not overly sweet. Now I searched for the exact ingredients but had trouble finding measurements but we'll do our thing and hope it turns out as good as this one.
- 1/4 cup pomegranate-tangerine juice, store bought is fine
- 1/3 cup Patron Tequila (about 4 ounces)
- 1/8 cup Cointreau (Triple Sec) (about 1-ounce)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 ounces)
- 12 ounces ice cubes
- margarita salt, optional
Directions
Combine all ingredients, except salt, in a blender, pulse until frothy and well combined. Rim glasses with lime juice using a lime wedge then dip in margarita salt, drop some fresh pomegranate seeds in the bottom of the glass and pour margarita mix over the top. {Food Network}
If you have nothing to whip up a tasty drink, simply pretend. I do it all the time.
